    Olympic National Park
Rich in history and wildlife, the park encompasses three completely different ecosystems including rugged glacier capped mountains, over 60 miles of untouched Pacific coast and impressive stands of old growth and temperate rain forest. The biological communities here were isolated for thousand of years by water and ice sheets during the last ice age. Due to this isolation, some species uniquely evolved only in this region.
